Cozy Autumn Romance at Frosty Valley // Lauren + Bobby Grigas
The Beginning
Bobby and Lauren met in college at Susquehanna University, thanks to Lauren’s best friend Stephanie. After a year of friendship, their first date at Texas Roadhouse was perfect. They did long-distance for a bit but eventually settled in Danville, adopting two kitties, Fynn and Lottie. They moved into a farmhouse and their family grew with a chocolate lab, Lucy.
The Proposal
Celebrating their 5-year anniversary, Bobby surprised Lauren with a proposal at her family’s lake house in New York. Both of their families were in on the surprise and got Lauren out of the house with the girls as the guys prepped for the proposal. When Lauren got back, she walked out to Bobby on the dock, surrounded with rose petals and candles. With tear filled eyes, Lauren happily said YES! It was a beautiful, perfect surprise!π
The Big Day
Lauren envisioned a cozy, romantic wedding with gold and autumn hues, and she brought that vision to life beautifully. With inspiration from Pinterest, the entire day was filled with warm and inviting details that made it truly unforgettable.
One special detail that Lauren was excited about- Bobby agreed to dance to Taylor Swift’s Lover for their first dance! We all agree, he’s a secret Swiftie π
Lauren looked absolutely enchanting in her gown from Exclusively You, which perfectly matched the romantic theme. Her hair, styled by the talented team at Shubiedoo’s Salon & Day Spa, was flawless. The bridesmaids wore lovely autumn-colored dresses from Birdy Grey, adding to the seasonal charm, while the men looked sharp in suits from Matlow’s Clothing Store.
A big thanks to DJ Big Andy for keeping the energy high and to Frosty Valley for the delicious catering. Bird Florist & Greenhouses created breathtaking floral arrangements that added so much beauty to the day. Thank you to our associate, Megan, for capturing the day.
