We met while working at Geisinger Hospital—Megan was a pharmacist in the ER, and Stephen was a respiratory therapist who came down for emergencies. Our connection was instant as we discovered our shared love for hiking, traveling, good food, wine, and binge-watching TV shows. After talking for hours on our first date, Megan knew she had met her future husband.

Stephen planned a surprise weekend in the Finger Lakes and proposed at a winery. Despite the rain, the skies cleared just in time for his emotional proposal, creating a perfect, private moment. It was the start of their forever.

Wedding Planning

For their wedding, Megan and Steve chose the enchanting Cypress House, a stunning garden-style venue that perfectly matched Megan’s vision. The outdoor setting was ideal for the enchanting garden romance she always imagined for their big day. Cypress House not only provided the beautiful backdrop but also coordinated and designed the event, including the stunning florals.

The Big Day

Megan looked breathtaking in her plunge neckline gown from Exclusively You, while the men were dapper in suits from the same boutique. The bridesmaids added a touch of elegance with their beautiful pink dresses from Azazie, perfectly complementing the romantic garden theme. Megan’s hair and makeup were flawlessly done by the talented Candy Rose Event team.

No detail was spared, from the first bridal detail photo to the intricate elements of their romantic reception. The day was also captured by the Bodnar Film Company, ensuring every precious moment was immortalized. Guests indulged in sweets from Gable House and a delicious meal catered by Ard’s Farm, while Bring on the Bash kept the dance floor lively.
