While both, Michaela and Christian grew up in and around Bloomsburg, PA, their world’s didn’t collide until during a high school musical production of The Sound of Music in the early Spring of 2010. They were both skeptical of “love at first sight”, but for them, this may have been as close as one can get. From music, to humor, to the importance of faith, family, empathy, and kindness; these shared priorities helped carry the two love birds across the past decade.

It was a love that neither time nor distance could tear asunder, as they shared the heartache and burdens of long distance love for five years, finishing college 100 miles apart. Through the countless good times, but also through the struggles, the growing pains, and the moments that felt like crossroads, this love listened, learned, fought, and always prevailed against the odds. Christian proposed to Michaela on October 21, 2018 (34 years to the day his parents had their first date). The rest is history, and brings us all to their wedding day. Michaela and Christian have waited 3,882 days for this moment, and it’s time to celebrate!
